Born from a love of the game

We first discovered padel on holiday and loved its energy and community feel. Back then it was still fairly new to the UK: very few people knew about the sport, even fewer played it, and the equipment was tennis-focused. Padel hadn’t found its voice, so we decided to change that.

Our mission was to create a brand that reflects and adds to the culture and community of padel. We designed our first racket and balls, testing prototype after prototype until we found the right balance of power, control and durability.

Our first logo and racket design were hand-drawn by us. We sketched hundreds of designs looking for the right fit, and even drew out rackets to picture the finished design.

The name ZYLO comes from the Ancient Greek word for forest. It stands for strength, growth and nature, and it marks the moment we took the leap, using our own savings to bring the vision to life.

Our signature Z embodies what ZYLO Padel is all about, and we’re proud it’s a design we created ourselves.

• November 2024: ZYLO officially launches with rackets and overgrips.
• Since then: padel balls, new racket colours, product bundles and coloured grips, so players can customise their rackets and show their style on court.

We’ve also had the privilege of seeing our gear used by legends including Robbie Fowler, Steven Gerrard, Paddy “The Baddy” and Anthony Gordon. A real pinch-me moment.

We believe padel is more than a sport: it’s a community. We’re here to support every player, from first-timers to high-level regulars, with high-quality, innovative equipment that celebrates the game we love.
